If you ever want to find a surefire way to make your customers, feel unwelcomed and drive away returning business... Just do what they did at the nursery. I'm upset by the experience that my wife had the other day. For her birthday she was given a gift certificate which was great because we're also replanting the terraces on our hillsides. She got there early and while waiting for them to open she noticed people were going in and out of the store. She walked up and asked one of the staff if they were open and if it was okay in, and they welcomed her in. Once she was in the store, she heard the manager audibly complaining about her being in the store early. They never looked at her, no one approached her and let her know she couldn't be there, there was just the manager behind her earshot of her complaining about her being in the store before they officially opened. My wife purchased a few items and the left but was bothered for the rest of the day by the experience. She was saying that she doesn't want to come back to the store. I have reached out, spoke to that manager, and asked for the owner to contact me. This is very unacceptable behavior.

Love, love this place. The Highwire coffee trailer makes one of the best cappuccinos I’ve ever had. The barista makes wonderful latte art! I love to meet my friend for coffee here and sit amongst the plants and flowers while we chat. They also have a great little shop with fun gifty things 🌷🪴.

This place is awesome. Had a great experience shopping here. It’s so cute and I loved the ambience. It’s the kind of place you could wander around for hours in. The staff was really helpful and knowledgeable in helping me select indoor plants that are cat friendly. There are a surprising number of plants that are toxic to cats! Other than the furniture they sell being very expensive, everything else is great.

A beautiful jewel in the crown of the town of Albany (by the way, a great downtown to walk around in). I friend and I were out for a walk and couldn't just walk past this place. They have so many displays to feast one's eye's on. And they change their displays for the season--and they are season appropriate with their plants. Inside their building, they have many plants that are more appropriate indoors, seeds, tools, and items that are more valuable. Outside they have their outdoor displays, plants they you eat, starts, trees, and more. There is a coffee shop outside, but it was too late in the day for me. Even if you aren't a gardener, you will find beauty there. You can always just walk around and feast your eyes, and your nose (in some cases).
